NOTICE: DUE TO A NECESSARY VOCATIONAL CHANGE AND RELOCATION, BEGINNING IN JANUARY OF 2008 WE ARE TAKING OUR INVENTORY OFF LINE FOR A PERIOD OF SIX MONTHS OR SO. WE HOPE TO EXPAND OUR WEBSITE WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONAL PAGES, BUT WON'T RESUME BOOKSELLING UNTIL LATER IN THE YEAR. MY PASSION FOR BOOKS HASN'T CHANGED, BUT WE ALL HAVE TO HAVE PRIORITIES, AND FOR A SEASON I NEED TO FOCUS MY ATTENTION ELSEWHERE.
Welcome to the home of Schillingslist. We're a home based business; please search or browse our inventory of select used, out-of-print and rare books. If you can't find what you're looking for please fill out our "Offline Search Service" form (under the Navigation bar on the left) and we will search our additional inventory, other bookstores and book search services for you. We have a 10 day unconditional Return Policy and strive as an overarching principle to conduct business by doing unto others as we would have them do unto us. The books are Categorized by Subject and Alphabatized by Author, just click on the "Browse Lists" categories on the right column to browse our titles; or, enter a Title, Author or Keyword in the "Quick Search" box at the upper left.Schillingslist is more than an online used bookstore, in time we'll be adding feature articles and links to recommended sites. Books are one of our chief passions and we focus on select Out-of-Print books while maintaining quality stock that's still in print. Non-fiction dominates our inventory with Theology and Americana as our Specialties. Every bookseller should be a Specialist and a Generalist, so we'll seek to model that axiom here; we also are always acquiring new stock, and Fiction, Modern Firsts, Childrens books, Literature, Poetry, Biographies and a host of other non-fiction categories from Arts to Sports are to be found here. Grading is in accord with "First's Quick Reference Guide to Grading Books" using "As New/Fine, Near Fine, Very Good, Good, Fair, and Poor," as our summary grades. Attention to detail is taken to accurately describe all our books, and from stocking to shipping all are handled with care and integrity. All Dust-Jacketed books are protected in Archival Brodart protectors. We tissue-wrap, bubble wrap and appropriately box (often double-layered b-flute) our shipments. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions, books you're looking for or books for sale or liquidation.
Thanks for visiting, have a great day, Bob Schilling (phone) 971-246-3496 |
